HEADLAMP TECHNOLOGY
A forward-thinking lighting system. High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps emit a crisp, white light, providing superior illumination to traditional headlamps and better revealing what’s further down the road. Available IntelliBeam® headlamps automatically switch to high beams when you’re driving on dark roads. When sensors detect tail lamps or oncoming headlamps, they’re automatically switched back to low beams. Available Adaptive Forward Lighting automatically adjusts the headlamp beams to help deliver optimal illumination for the conditions you’re driving in.
LIGHTING INNOVATIONS
A well-lit welcome. When you unlock the XTS after dark, lights in the headlamps, outside mirrors and available light accents on the door handles illuminate, casting a soft glow and improving visibility around the vehicle as you approach.
SAFETY IN SOLID STEEL
Designed to help protect. Beneath the exterior of the XTS lies a high-strength, steel alloy safety cage with strategically placed crumple zones to help manage crash energy if the unexpected happens. Available high-tech safety features can alert you to impending crashes, and ten standard airbags4 help reduce the risk of injury in moderate to severe crashes.

HEAD-UP DISPLAY
Updates at a glance. The available Head-Up Display, standard on both Premium and Platinum Collections, projects your driving information onto the windshield in full color. It’s also reconfigurable, so you can see information that’s relevant to you, without taking your eyes off the road.
DRIVER AWARENESS
Security that surrounds you. The Driver Awareness Package, available on the XTS Luxury Collection and standard on the Premium and Platinum Collections, utilizes radar technology and advanced photo imaging to scan for potential hazards on the road. The package includes features like Forward Collision Alert, Lane Departure Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert to detect and alert you to potential accidents, helping give you more reaction time. It also includes Surround Vision, a four-camera system that displays a bird’s eye view of the XTS to assist when maneuvering in and out of tight spots.5

DRIVER ASSISTANCE
Technology that anticipates. The Driver Assist Package, available on the Premium Collection and included in the Platinum Collection, uses radar technology to help lessen impact during a crash, or avoid it altogether. The package includes Adaptive Cruise Control, which uses radar to detect and maintain a set distance. Also included is Front and Rear Automatic Braking which can, up to certain speeds, sense front or rear collisions and automatically engage the brakes, helping to give you more reaction time.6
